The 6 figure cars were always fun and pretty to watch, but I thought they did their best work when they went low rent. I’ll take the Alfa as long as it’s James. The Hamster ruined his with his manual water pump, and Jeremy ruined his by working on it himself.

I wanted to do that for Car Week in Monteray’s Concors with someone’s Merc, but the fees were a bit...too high

My first, too! Or maybe second. And it’s in my top five but I can’t rank them beyond that.

(I’ve used the “second’s nice, it’s underrated as a gear” quote more times than I can count, but no one else knows where it’s from)

The first one I saw that got me hooked was the car darts.

they always had such good challenges, like the cheap porsches, and the cheap coupes that arent porsches, the build your own rv, the one the one where they try to convert a jag to run as a train. or the one with the british leyland challenge ,OOOH the one with the homemade boats, that one was great.

pretty well all the challenges are good. id have to think real hard to find a disappointing one.

and the specials.
